Production Support Analyst is to provide consulting services to
the end-user community, reporting support and data validation in
support of the Lacek Customer Reporting System. Is responsible for
providing ongoing support to users producing the monthly and ad
hoc reporting, and for front-end analysis and requirements
definition for modifying existing reports and processes, and the
creation of new reports and processes. This person will work with
DBAs in the maintenance of the Lacek Oracle database. This person
will work with end-users in testing and validating modifications
and enhancements to Lacek customer reporting. Regular involvement
with the Production Support and Data Warehouse Development teams
as well as representatives from the user community. It requires a
general knowledge of principles, theories and concepts of data
base technology, architectures, and logical and physical data
design. This person must also have a basic understanding of
business usage of Data Marts, Operational Data Stores and Data
Warehouses.
